Brasil Telecom is deploying Harris’ point-to-point wireless products throughout its network in order to augment the carrier’s backbone for voice and data transmission.

This agreement will lead to installations in Rio Grande do Sul, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul and Goiás.

“Brasil Telecom will have immediate access to our ‘on-the-ground’ support, customer service and local repair and return capabilities.”

Harris Microwave Communications Division, one of four divisions within Harris Corporation, is the largest supplier of microwave systems in North America and a leading supplier worldwide. The company provides systems and service to customers in more than 150 countries.
