Brazil’s Top Business School Partners with American Babson College

Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV), Escola de Administração de Empresas, Sao Paulo (EAESP), Brazil, has partnered with US-based entrepreneurial management school Babson College.

FGV is first Latin American institution to obtain recognition by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business).

According to both schools, the agreement will promote and expand international understanding, development, and friendship by stimulating and supporting educational, professional and intercultural activities and projects among students, faculty members and staff of the two institutions.

Among the areas of mutual interest there are student, faculty and cultural exchange programs, joint training programs and cooperative lectures, conferences, workshops and seminars.

Walter Esquivel, executive director, Babson’s Institute for Latin American Business (ILAB), said that FGV’s Dean Fernando S. Meirelles referred to Babson as the latest and most welcome partner for FGV.

Fundação Getúlio Vargas, FGV-EAESP, is a pioneer in the teaching of business administration in Brazil and is one of the principal Brazilian centers of teaching, research, publication and consulting in the field. It offers a full range of courses at the undergraduate, graduate and continuing education levels.

Babson College in Wellesley, Mass., is considered a leader in entrepreneurial management education. Babson grants BS degrees through its undergraduate program, and grants MBA and custom MS and MBA degrees through the F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College.
