Brazil in New York Wooing Foreign Investors

The São Paulo Stock Exchange (Bovespa), Brazil’s most important stock market, sent a task force to New York, in the United States, this week to publicize Brazil’s capital market.

According to the Bovespa press office, a presentation of Brazil: Excellence in Securities Transactions (BEST) will be made on today, November 16, when institutional managers and investors will be able to learn about the operational infrastructure and services offered by the Brazilian Clearing and Depository Corporation (CBLC).

The secretary of the National Treasury, Joaquim Levy, the director of Monetary Policy of the Central Bank, Rodrigo Azevedo, and the director of the Securities Commission (CVM), Sérgio Weguelin, will participate in the events designed to attract foreign investors.
