According to the fair organizers, deals were closed for the export of two tons or organic guaraná to Spain and Germany. The agreements were signed with a producer from the city of Urucará, in Amazonas state. Other products form the region were also traded, like bonbons stuffed with tropical fruit essences, honey, liqueurs, cosmetics and handicraft.
The Manaus Free Zone Superintendence (Suframa), which organizes the fair, informed that around 100,000 people visited the event, the seminars promoted attracted 2,000 participants, 300 exhibitors from Manaus Industrial Hub showed their products and six deals in sustainable investment projects were closed.
Apart from neighboring states, the visitors to the fair also included businessmen from São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Rio Grande do Sul, as were 1,000 visitors from countries like Portugal, Japan, the United States and Canada.
According to a press statement by the organizers of the fair, the superintendent of the Free Zone, Flávia Grosso, said that the deals generated should double or even triple in the medium term.
