The consortium is going to manage studies developed by the Embrapa and the Tropical and Mediterranean Agronomy Research Hub (Agrópolis), headquartered in the city of Montpellier (France), and other institutions.
The CIBA letter of intentions should be signed today, September 26, by Embrapa president Silvio Crestana, and by the general director of the CIRAD, Gérard Matheron, in Brazilian capital Brasília.
