Brazil Takes Its Alcohol Fuel Show to California

A delegation from the Brazilian Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade is in Los Angeles to present the advantages of Brazilian ethanol to companies, scholars, Californian authorities and non governmental organizations.

The state of California was chosen as it is the main center in the world for collaboration between car manufacturers, energy companies, cell and fuel companies and government agencies. The Brazilian mission is being led by minister Luiz Fernando Furlan.

On the four-day trip to California, the committee will also visit San Francisco and Sacramento, the state capital.

In Los Angeles, the minister is going to meet foreign investors and has scheduled a meeting with former US vice president Al Gore. He will also give a talk at the Milken Institute Global Conference.
