Brazil’s 1st International Business Roundtable at the São Paulo International Dental Meeting (Ciosp), which ended January 27, should have a turnover in business deals of US$ 3 million up to the end of the year for the Brazilian companies in the sector.
Promoted by the Association of the Manufacturers of Medical and Dental Products (Abimo), the roundtable had buyers participating from 22 countries.
During the three days of the event, which began on the 25th of January, 325 meetings between importers and Brazilian exporters from more than 50 companies in the dentistry sector took place, according to information from the Abimo.
There were medium and large companies from South Africa, Australia, Greece, India, Israel, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Lebanon, Jordan, Syria and Mexico participating in the roundtables, amongst other countries.
The most negotiated products were resins, amalgams and dental instruments, but equipments to build complete dentistry practices were also sold.
According to information from the Abimo press advisory, the association intends to promote other similar events in the next Hospital Trade Fair, to take place in June, in São Paulo.
As well as that, the entity will also participate in the following two years in similar events in other countries such as India, China, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and Russia.
